• Custom npm registries and specific version pinning are now supported for plugin installations.
• A security vulnerability that allowed certain hook commands to execute without user confirmation has been resolved.
• Command execution performance has improved as the BashTool now bypasses login shells by default when a shell snapshot is present.
• Larger tool output is now saved to disk sooner, conserving context window usage and improving conversation length.
• System administrators can now configure managed settings using macOS plist files or Windows Registry entries.
