Every published figure about Claude on this page carries a source, a date and a revision history — we report what was said, not what we believe is true.

How to read this board

  • Tracked by us — an orange rule at the top. The figure is our own measurement, taken by us, and we hold two or more readings of it, so the card shows a line. The line is a staircase between the days we actually measured; we never draw through days we did not.
  • Cited — no rule, no line. Somebody else published the figure, and the card names them and the date it applies to. The label depends on who produced the number, never on how often we looked at it: a third-party figure we have verified twice is still cited, not tracked. Re-checking someone else's number is verification, not measurement.
  • URLs do not move. Once a figure is published, its address is frozen — a citation made today still resolves later.
  • Old values are kept. When a figure is updated, the previous value stays on its page as revision history.

How many users does Claude have?

Anthropic does not publish a single user count, so we do not print one. What exists are usage figures with a named source and a date — reported weekly actives, revenue run-rate as a proxy for scale, and the community sizes we measure ourselves. The most recently verified usage figure we hold is Anthropic's Economic Index (June 2026) reported that written deliverables such as documents and presentations account for about a third of Claude conversations, and code and technical work for about a sixth. What is Anthropic's valuation?

Valuation figures come from funding rounds and from reporting on them, never from us. The latest one we have verified is Anthropic reported raising $65 billion in Series H funding at a $965 billion post-money valuation, with its source, its date and its revision history on that page.
